Man City vs Real Madrid: All the Latest UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals Match Information, Including Stats, Form, History, and More

Real Madrid continued their quest for a 15th UEFA Champions League title after a dramatic 4-3 penalty shoot-out victory eliminated holders Manchester City.

The teams drew 1-1 on the night and 4-4 on aggregate, with Riyad Mahrez's goal in the second half of extra time canceling out Karim Benzema's opener for Real Madrid.

In the shootout, Real Madrid converted all four of their penalties, while City missed two of their three attempts. Thibaut Courtois saved the first penalty from Riyad Mahrez, and Rodrygo and Karim Benzema both scored to give Real Madrid a 2-0 lead.

Kevin De Bruyne pulled one back for City, but Phil Foden's penalty hit the post, giving Real Madrid the advantage. Bernardo Silva equalized for City, but Dani Carvajal scored the winning penalty to send Real Madrid through to the semi-finals.

Real Madrid will now face Chelsea in the semi-finals, while Manchester City's hopes of retaining the Champions League have been dashed.
