Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of late-1990s rap-rock band Crazy Town, has died at the age of 49. The news was confirmed by the band's publicist on June 24, 2024. No cause of death has been released.

Born Seth Binzer on August 23, 1974, Shifty Shellshock was best known for his high-energy performances and unique vocal style. He helped Crazy Town achieve mainstream success with their 2000 hit single "Butterfly," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In recent years, Shifty Shellshock had been working on a solo project. He also made appearances on reality television shows, including "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars."
